It is agreed between Seller and Buyer as follows:

 

1. DESCRIPTION OF DOG This

The dog sold pursuant to the terms of this agreement as follows:

Breed: Irish Wolfhound

Sex: 

Whelped: 

Registered name of puppy/dog: To Be Registered by Owner

Spay and neuter is not required and should not occur until hound is fully grown and developed. However this is a NON BREEDING contract. This dog shall not be bred on purpose or accident.

 

2. HEALTH GUARANTEE

The breeder guarantees this Timbercreek Irish Wolfhound to be of sound health and temperament at the time of this sale. The buyer agrees to take this dog/bitch to a licensed veterinarian of his/her choice within 48 hours for a physical examination and for continuation of vaccines. Should the puppy be determined to be in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the breeder, the puppy may, upon written diagnosis from said veterinarian . Any veterinarian's diagnosis shall be subject to confirmation by a veterinarian chosen and paid for by the breeder. Should said veterinarian not concur with the diagnosis, the matter shall be presented to a third veterinarian mutually agreed upon by the breeder and the buyer.PUPPIES WILL BE LIVER SHUNT TESTED BEFORE THEY LEAVE!

*Congenital Disease Guarantee: If a congenital disease develops within one year of purchase [I the breeder reserve the right to have the animal examined by a vet of my choice at my expense to confirm the diagnosis.] [This does not apply to faults or defects, which were disclosed at the time of purchase.] Buyer shall be solely responsible for all cost and related expenses of returning puppy/dog to Seller. Should buyer decide to keep puppy/dog he forfeits all claims and shall be solely responsible for any and all future Veterinarian bills for puppy/dog.

 

*All Guarantees pertain to the original purchaser only.*

*Buyer agrees to provide regular veterinary care as well as the proper daily maintenance to keep the dog/bitch in good health. Failure to do so will VOID the Health guarantee.

Ownership of the puppy/dog will be transferred to Buyer for the sale price of ($3500.00). It is to be paid as follows: $500.00 as deposit on the execution of this agreement with the remaining balance of $3000.00 to be paid on or before puppy/dog leave's Sellers premise

 

Cash is the final payment method, no checks will be taken. 

3. MAINTENANCE

a) Buyer agrees to maintain this puppy/dog in good health, provide routine preventative health care including, but not limited to, inoculation, internal and external parasites, and - where indicated – heart worm preventative medication.

b) Buyer further agrees to provide proper exercise as indicated in order to maintain this puppy/dog in proper weight and physical shape. A proper diet consists of top-quality puppy/dog food and supplements.

c) Buyer agrees Seller will REPOSSESS DOG OR BITCH UPON EVIDENCE OF NEGLECT AND/OR ABUSE at no expense to the seller. If dog needs to be surrendered, seller will always take dog back. Seller will not pay money to reclaim dog if buyer needs to rehome.

d) The Buyer agrees to maintain preventative care of the puppy/dog in regards to hip dyspepsia, such as proper nutrition, proper exercise, and preventing stress injuries (not allowing the puppy/dog to jump from heights taller than itself at the shoulder, no forced exercise such as running, until at least 12 months of age.) WALKING A MILE OR MORE SHOULD WAIT TILL 8-9 MONTHS.

I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IF YOU TAKE THIS PUPPY ANY PLACE BUT YOUR HOME BEFORE THE PUPPY SEES THE VET WITHIN THE INITIAL 48 BEFORE THE VET CHECK-UP. IF YOU RUN THIS PUPPY AROUND IT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK THE PUPPY UNDER 16 WEEKS HAS NOT GOTTEN THEIR FULL SERIES OF PUPPY SHOTS .THE PUPPY IS STILL SUSCEPTIBLE TO DISEASES, PARASITES, ILLNESS, MITES, SCABIES, PNEUMONIA, PARVO,THE LIST GOES ON!!! I ADVISE ALL NEW PUPPY OWNERS to NOT take their New Puppy to ANY DOG PARKS, PETSMART, PETCO, OR ANY OTHER PUBLIC PLACE WHERE THEY MAY COME INTO CONTACT WITH A INFECTIOUS DISEASE UNTIL THEY HAVE RECEIVED ALL THEIR BOOSTER SHOTS FOR DISEASE, AND BE AT LEAST 16 WEEKS OF AGE.

When you take your puppy to the Vet, PLEASE DO NOT LET PUPPY WALK ON THE FLOOR. I also Advise you to Keep Visitors and Outings Limited the first few weeks to let puppy get settled in to his or her new surroundings. Stress caused by changes in your puppies Normal Routine and Diet can also have an effect on the Immune System™s ability to Respond and keep your puppy healthy. Again I will not be held responsible for any Vet bills incurred or any bills incurred once the puppy leaves my house

. If you change the food please do not do it suddenly change it gradually over at least a 5 day period. If you do it too quickly it can cause stomach problems which can be serious in a young puppy. Feeding the puppy regularly is a must!

Seller strongly recommends that Buyer attend obedience classes with puppy/dog and provide proper socialization opportunities for puppy/dog.

Seller shall not be held responsible for acts of puppy/dog which are due to Buyers negligence.

Buyer agrees that this puppy/dog is NOT to be LEFT IN A BACKYARD OR KENNEL ONLY. This puppy/dog is sold with the understanding that it is to go to carefully selected parties and that Buyer AVOWED the puppy/dog would become a member of the family. (This is to assure proper development and maintenance of the temperament for which the animal was bred.)

 

5. GENERAL

a) Buyer agrees to allow Seller the right of first refusal should Buyer decide to sell, relinquish or transfer puppy/dog.

b) Should Buyer choose to break any of the covenants of this Contract, the Contract will be considered null and void, and Seller will have the right to repossess puppy/dog with no cost to seller and no refund of monies.

c) The Buyer agrees that he/she is not acting as or in part of, an agent in the purchase of this puppy/dog and that the Buyer will not sell this puppy/dog or its any of its progeny to any agent, pet store, or guard dog business.

d) All monies mentioned in this contract are in United States Dollars.

 

6. BUYERS UNDERSTANDING

The Buyer is completely satisfied and waives any and all claims regarding the puppy/dog's conformation and outward appearance. Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully, will comply with this contract
