The puppy/dog sold pursuant to the terms of this agreement as follows:

2. HEALTH GUARANTEE

1. The Seller guarantees this Irish wolfhound to be of sound health and temperament at the time of this sale. The Buyer agrees to take this puppy/dog to a licensed veterinarian of his/her choice within 48 hours for a physical examination and for continuation of vaccines. Should the puppy/dog be determined to be in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the Seller, the puppy/dog may, upon written diagnosis from said veterinarian, be returned to the Seller for full refund minus the deposit. Any veterinarian's diagnosis shall be subject to confirmation by a veterinarian chosen and paid for by the Seller. Should said veterinarian not concur with the diagnosis, the matter shall be presented to a third veterinarian, mutually agreed upon by the Seller and the Buyer.

2. Congenital Disease Guarantee: If a congenital disease develops within one year of purchase, the Seller reserves the right to have the puppy/dog examined by a veterinarian of their choice and expense to confirm the diagnosis. This does not apply to faults or defects, which were disclosed at the time of purchase. Buyer shall be solely responsible for all cost and related expenses of returning puppy/dog to Seller. Should Buyer decide to keep puppy/dog, he/she forfeits all claims and shall be solely responsible for any and all future veterinarian bills for puppy/dog.

3. All guarantees pertain to the original Buyer only.

4. Buyer agrees to provide regular veterinary care, as well as the proper daily maintenance to keep the dog/bitch in good health. Failure to do so will VOID the Health Guarantee.

3. MAINTENANCE

1. Buyer agrees to maintain this puppy/dog in good health, provide routine preventative health care, including, but not limited to: inoculation, internal and external parasites, and heart worm preventative medication.

2. Buyer further agrees to provide proper exercise in order to maintain this puppy/dog in proper weight and physical shape. A proper diet consists of top-quality puppy/dog food and supplements. Exercise should not be forced and kept to a minimum until puppy is older.

3. The Buyer agrees to maintain preventative care of the puppy/dog in regards to hip dyspepsia, such as proper nutrition, proper exercise, and preventing stress injuries . Rugs should be on the floor is it is a slick surface.

4. BUYER WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IF SELLER TAKES THIS PUPPY/DOG TO ANY PLACE, BUT YOUR HOME BEFORE THE PUPPY/DOG SEES THE VETERINARIAN WITHIN THE INITIAL 48 HOURS. IF THIS PUPPY/DOG IS TAKEN OUT IN HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS, IT IS AT BUYER’S OWN RISK. A PUPPY/DOG UNDER 16 WEEKS OLD HAS NOT RECEIVED THEIR FULL SERIES OF PUPPY VACCINATIONS. THE SELLER ADVISES ALL NEW PUPPY/DOG OWNERS TO NOT TAKE THEIR PUPPY/DOG TO ANY DOG PARKS, PETSMART, PETCO, OR ANY OTHER PUBLIC PLACE WHERE THEY MAY COME INTO CONTACT WITH AN INFECTIOUS DISEASE UNTIL THEY HAVE RECEIVED ALL THEIR APPROPRIATE INOCULATIONS AND BE AT LEAST 16 WEEKS OF AGE.

5. It is the Seller’s recommendation to not let the puppy/dog walk on the floor when taking it to the veterinarian. It is also advised that the Buyer keeps visitors and outings limited the first few weeks, to let the puppy/dog settle into their new surroundings. Stress caused by changes in the puppy’s normal routine and diet can also have an effect on the immune system’s ability to respond and keep the puppy healthy. Again, the Seller will not be held responsible for any veterinarian bills incurred once the puppy/dog leaves Seller’s premises. 

6. Do not change the puppy/dog’s food suddenly.  The food should be changed gradually over a five day period at minimum. If it is done it too quickly, it can cause stomach problems, which can be serious in a young puppy.

7. Seller strongly recommends proper socialization opportunities for puppy/dog at the appropriate age (after 16 weeks of age).

8. Seller shall not be held responsible for acts of puppy/dog which are due to Buyer’s negligence.

9. This is dog shall not be breed on accident or on purpose. This is a non breeding contract. Spay and neuter should not take place until around 2 yrs of age.

 

 

4. GENERAL

1. Ownership of the puppy/dog will be transferred to the Buyer for the sale price of $3,500. It is to be paid as follows: $500 as nonrefundable deposit, with the remaining balance of $3,000 due on the execution of this agreement to be paid on or before puppy/dog leaves the Seller’s premises.

2. Cash, venmo or PayPal for the final payment method, no checks or digital payments will be taken. 

3. Buyer agrees to allow Seller the right of first refusal, should Buyer decide to sell, relinquish or transfer puppy/dog.

4. Buyer agrees the Seller will REPOSSESS DOG/BITCH UPON EVIDENCE OF NEGLECT AND/OR ABUSE at no expense to the Seller. 

5. If dog needs to be surrendered, Buyer must return dog/bitch to the Seller for placement. Seller will not pay money to reclaim dog, if dog can be rehomed for money. The seller will return any money collected to buyer.

6. Should Buyer choose to break any of the covenants of this Contract, the Contract will be considered null and void, and Seller will have the right to repossess puppy/dog with no cost to Seller and no refund of monies.

7. The Buyer agrees that he/she is not acting as or in part of, an agent in the purchase of this puppy/dog and that the Buyer will not sell this puppy/dog or any of it’s progeny to any agent, or pet store.

5. BUYER’S UNDERSTANDING

    The Buyer is completely satisfied and waives any and all claims regarding the puppy/dog's conformation and outward appearance. Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully and will comply with this contract.
